Who does not want to have fun at their wedding? In my personal experience as a wedding photographer, I have seen guest count ranging from 50 to 250 at a regular wedding function. These are the people who spend more than four hours with you on your special day. Time is not a constraint, but when someone invests their time on your special day, you may want them to have fun. So, it is equally important to keep their entertainment in mind.
Another reason for arranging a fun wedding is that people will set your wedding as a benchmark. "Remember when we went to Alyssa & Landon's wedding? It was so fun." Yes, registering your name in the hall of fame. If you are running out of ideas for arranging a fun wedding, look no further. Here are a few of the most fun things you can do at your wedding.
Plan for the kids
You don't want the kids running around at your wedding function wreaking havoc. Instead, what you can do is replace it with something better – give them their own designated area. Top it off by arranging a part-time babysitter who can set up games, crafts, and movies for them. You can also set up tables with toys and coloring books.
Interactive food stalls
You wouldn't want people to be celebrating at your wedding with an empty stomach, no? However, you can make it fun by customizing the food tables by making them intractable. For instance, you can create a sushi-rolling setup, and the guests can create their own ideal bites.
Book a great DJ
Here's an easy one that requires no tinkering. I may have seen a fair amount of DJs, and most of them are good. But, you do not want the 'good' ones. You need someone who controls the crowd and gets them on their feet. For that purpose, choose an experienced DJ, or a band, who can give you just the right amount of energy you need to showcase your moves on the dance floor.
Arrange a table for {root}beer pong
Who said only kids play games? Well, adults play games as well, and they can have a perfect time. Arrange a table for rootbeer pong, and you will be surprised to see the mammoth amount of fun that comes with it. When you offer your guests a unique interactive fun-filled experience, they cherish every moment of it.
Give your pet a bow tie
Now that is an idea that will make people fall in love with your wedding. Do you have a cute pet? Well, you are in luck because now that with just a single bow tie, your pet can become a star-studded addition to your wedding.
Get an impersonator to groove
Do you know someone who moves like Michael Jackson? Well then, you're in luck. The key to a fun wedding is a lot of dancing, but you do not want your guests to start, because usually, it gets too late. Instead, hire a celebrity impersonator and let him/her do the rest. Not only will it ignite loads of fun, but it will also spark the interest of your guests to get up from their seats and get on the dance floor.
Hire a wedding photographer with a pinch of humor
The best pictures are not the ones that are candid only; the best photos are the ones that are taken when you are laughing and living in the moment. For that purpose, hire a wedding photographer who knows how to take a picture and, most importantly, when to take a picture while cracking a funny joke...That's me!!

About the session:
These Utah bridals at the Utah State Capitol were a perfect way for the bride & groom to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. Their road to become husband and wife was a bit bumpy to get the right permissions to marry in the Ogden, Utah LDS temple for all time and eternity.
Mckenzie and Jared were so fun-loving during their formal session. As a Utah wedding photographer, I enjoy creating movie moments with my bride & groom couples. It's important to me for my clients to actually have fun and not just look like they are having fun. We listen to music, play some games and tell really lame jokes.
