MEET MEGHAN
When I’m not packing school lunches, braiding pigtails and playing legos, you’ll find me in sweats watching or listening to anything true crime. I am a wife to the sweetest man EVER and I am lucky enough to be mom to Dean, Lucy & Thea. As a family, adventure is very important to to us. We love to travel! Our favorite repeat places are the Oregon Coast, Disneyland and Cancun, Mexico.
If I had to sum up my type of photography into three words, they would be: rich, timeless and adventurous. I edit all of my images to mimic the look and feel of film. My hope is that generations from now, your photos will still be relevant and beautiful. A typical experience with me wi will most likely include games, music and lots of laughter. Telling love stories gives me all the butterflies and good feels!
What do you need to know about me as a photographer?

- Booking a wedding collection with me gets you more than just pictures… We will laugh, have fun, listen to music and get to know each other. I absolutely love it when my brides send me photos of their dress or text me about their venue. Your experience with me is just as important as the images you receive.
MY REASONS WHY
Why am I a Photographer?
Ummm… because it’s amazing! But seriously, I started my journey as a photographer in 2013 when my son was born. We were poor (ahem…cheap!) and didn’t want to hire a newborn photographer. Big mistake! I thought I could easily recreate all those adorable photos you see on Pinterest. (Maybe someday I’ll share those hilarious and terrible photos of Dean.) I learned from those mistakes and kept on shooting. I used photography as a creative outlet and a way to “get out of the house”. My “career” as a newborn photographer was short lived when I realized it was not my thing. Kudos to all those amazing newborn togs out there–you’re amazing!
I evolved into a family photographer and I will always love my family clients. They were supportive and stuck with me during my trail stage of photography. I changed my editing style so many times-yikes!
Now, years later, I am confident in my work. I have a defined style and a love of telling progressive stories. I love the idea of meeting a graduating senior, years later shooting her wedding, and finally capturing her next big event into motherhood. Telling stories gives me butterflies and all the good feels.
Being a photographer has been such a blessing in my life. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Can you believe I was once a Political Science Major? Haha! What was I thinking?!
