I’m a big advocate of documenting all parts of your life. Deciding to serve a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a big part of your story. I love providing photos for future missionaries.
About the location-
If you didn’t know about this little green piece of heaven, you probably wouldn’t even know it was there. Just off a busy road, you’ll find a peaceful spot to fish, kayak, hike or bike the trails, hang a hammock and most importantly… take photos! Highland Glenn Park is one of Utah County’s best kept secrets. There are so many different spots within this little area, you’ll have lots of options. Best time to shoot here is May-October. It’s green pops during spring/summer and lots of gold, yellows and oranges during the fall. I love all of the little trails throughout the park. With trees on both sides of the trail, you are surrounded by beautiful mother nature.
I come to this location to photograph families, brides, maternity, missionary and more. I also come here with my family to relax and attempt to catch and release fish in the man-made pond.
About the session-
This is Autumn. Autumn is part of the pandemic missionary generation. She received her call to California and reported to her home MTC. She was excited and nervous to do all of her learning and training at home on the computer. She has adapted to many changes and ended up going to Texas! Here is a snippet from one of her most recent emails.

“Here is a simple, yet powerful experience from this past week. Our district was at our usual church just cleaning it and making it look nice for the ward that attends. We threw out the trash and headed on our way home. We were driving in the neighborhood near the church when one sister exclaimed she couldn't find her phone. We stopped the car and began to search. We head back to the church to start looking there. At this point it was pretty late and needed to be home for curfew. We think about all the places we and start our finest dumpster diving. It's been about 20 min. and we all are tired. We decided to stop and say a simple prayer asking for help finding. I kid you not, less than 2 min later we call the phone and it is right on top in the trash bag we had thrown away! Y'all, heavenly father hears and listens to every single one of his child's prayers. no matter how insignificant it may seem. He listens.”
